that time before carla went to europe

sosososososososooo i am going to Europe tomorrow.

today my cousin told me one in four people die in plane crashes.

i have also heard 50% of statistics aren't true.

yeah i am excited in a sort of distant way. it feels something like my birthday is coming up but i don't quite know what a birthday entails.

i am interested to know what is going to happen when reality collides with my dreams. i hope it will be something sparkly.

ALSO: every holiday/camp i have packed for so far in my life has NOT been ONE OF THE GROOVIEST CITIES EVER ACCORDING TO MOVIES.

if i said that a bit too dramatically gramtically and you didn't understand, what I meant was I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A PLACE THAT INVENTED LIKE BERETS AND MOSTACHES AND THEREFORE IT WAS HARD FOR ME TO PACK BECAUSE IT IS HARD TO PACK YOUR ENTIRE WARDROBE.

i want to look cool, and since i don't have a moustache or a small dog and i hate coffee no matter how chic it makes me look, i must dress awesomely.

i mean, come ON guyz what if the satorialist guy is there??

some midly groovy stuff happened today:

a transparant raincoat that is not QUITE as i imagined it would be.

(whatever people its obviously  futuristic, minimalistic awesomeness, you know aesthically.)

IN OTHER NEWS:

i went to a fashion show for melbourne spring fashion week a while ago with one of my cousins. it was a super super cool, pyschadelicish experience. i felt like i was in a dream. because it was an example of all my expectations and dreams and thoughts smashing into the brick wall of reality. i wasn't dissapointed, it was amazing.

I'm not going to lie, most of the clothes were a bit eh.

BUT it was so so so very interesting to look at the models and how they walk BUT ALSO the audience and how they were reacting. i saw these ladies with their little girls in fur coats in one hand and a glass of champagne in the other. i saw this blogger who(m??) i had read about.

basically, I WANTED TO BE IN THE FRONT ROW SO PEOPLE WOULD THINK I WAS IMPORTANT.

and afterwards, my cousin and me were walking to the tram when we saw one of the models standing on the footpath waiting for a taxi. she was our favourite model, the only dark skinned dark haired one of all thirty or so. we didnt even know her name, but guys SHE SMILED!!! AT US!!!!! i wanted a photo with her. she was so sassy and cool.

it was one of those moments where you don't even have time to think about what to do. we were in the city, near some fancy shops like chanel and stuff and there were all glittery lights and the fashionable beautiful people were getting in taxis or going to a bar. we went to the toilet in this super fancy hotel which had ferarris out the front and a doorman. and then we had gelati.

sometimes i just want to be one of those rich people who have beautiful clothes and hail taxis and know how to apply eyeliner without dying and stuff. it'd weird how quickly i can go from mood to mood. but not like angry to happy. more mindset to mindset or goals to goals. i guess it's normal.

on the way home the rich people magic had gone. we rode the tram and these really loud teenagers got on and then i went home.

HERE IS WHAT I WORE:

and also, here are some photos i found of new york fashion week (sigh) when i was searching the internet to find out why everyone was so pissed about Rodarte's new collection.

CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT TO TALK ABOUT THIS GIRL'S FRUITY OUTFIT!!??????????

 shoes!!!!!!

I have a theory that this is my maths teacher. she looks like this and she does dress in an interesting way. i am yet to form a hypothesis how she could be teaching us trigonometry and be grooving it up at nyfw.

see ya later after europe.
